Our Real Assets division of the Macquarie Asset Management group, is a global leader in alternative asset management, specialising in infrastructure, renewables, energy transition and natural assets. Our Legal & Governance team provide transactional, advisory and governance support to key stakeholders, delivering deep specialist expertise and a clear understanding of the group's commercial objectives and risk appetite.

What role will you play?

Our Legal & Governance team is a trusted partner to our investment teams, and you will play a key role in strengthening governance support across our ANZ infrastructure portfolio whilst helping drive integration initiatives, deliver training and education, and improve communication channels to ensure a seamless connection between governance functions and portfolio companies.
n
In addition, you will provide support in responding to regulatory requests, investigations and governance-related matters, as required.
n
This is a broad and varied role and you may also have the opportunity to contribute legal support on non-core legal matters to the Macquarie Asset Management Legal team, subject to holding relevant legal qualifications.

Demonstrable experience within Legal, Company Secretary, Board Secretariat, or Governance based roles
n
Deep experience within Asset Management or Financial Services sectors
n
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, across multiple teams within a growing organization.
n
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with C-level executives and department heads regularly.
n
Tertiary legal qualifications and experience preferable.
n
