Are you an experienced communications technology professional looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a highly skilled Senior Unified Communications Engineer to lead the delivery, support and strategic evolution of the communication services that connect our hospitals, clinicians and workforce every day.
n
This is a key technical leadership role responsible for the lifecycle management, optimisation, modernisation and operational support of enterprise telephony, Unified Communications and contact centre environments across one of NSW's largest and most dynamic health districts. Your expertise will help ensure reliable,
secure and innovative communication solutions that support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

As the Senior Unified Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering, maintaining, managing and supporting fit-for-purpose Unified Communications services across the District. You will oversee the end-to-end management of enterprise telephony platforms, including PABXs, call centres, voice and carrier services, SIP infrastructure, call routing, voicemail systems, faxing technologies and mobile device services.

Working closely with ICT teams, vendors and key stakeholders, you will drive service improvements and platform modernisation, while ensuring communication services remain reliable, secure and aligned with clinical and corporate operational requirements.
