About the Role
At John Flynn Retirement Village in Burwood East (VIC) we have an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team as a Maintenance Person.
This is a
Full-Time
position working
Monday to Friday *********.
Our maintenance team are more than just handy people.
They work closely with residents and the village team to ensure the safety, repair and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds.
From hanging residents treasured pictures in their homes to undertaking refurbishments within our apartments; the opportunities are endless at Ryman.
In this role you will:
Work in a team providing the village with an effective maintenance/preventative maintenance service ensuring the safety, repair and appearance of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds
Assist residents in their homes with repairs and maintenance
Ensure that all heath and safety policies are adhered to, to ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors
About You
Previous experience in a Maintenance role, a trade qualification or just completed an apprenticeship
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
Proven customer service skills and ability to build rapport with residents
Tech savvy
The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as required
Reliable, friendly and professional manner
