About the Role
Applications are sought for a Payroll & HR Officer with payroll experience to join our high performing Administration Team.
The Payroll & HR Officer ensures accurate processing of payroll and works closely with the school's administration, leadership team, and staff to implement best practices.
The Payroll & HR Officer must exercise independent judgement in a confidential manner, utilise technical knowledge related to Award/Enterprise Agreement interpretation, payroll functions, establish and maintain a broad range of relationships, and offer support and sound advice to over 100 employees.
About You
At least three years' experience in payroll,



preferably in an educational or not-for-profit setting, or a large organisation with multiple awards.
Effective time management with flexibility and adaptability to maintain work output during periods of high pressure and tight deadlines.
Current working with children Blue Card or able to obtain.
Experience with Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and payroll software.
Empathetic and compassionate with robust morals and values.
Superior communications skills, demonstrating discernment, sensitivity and discretion.
Strong attention to detail, organisational, analytical, initiative and problem-solving skills.
