Daily Relief Administrator
The Daily Relief Administrator is responsible for coordinating the effective day-to-day staffing of the College by arranging suitable relief teachers and support staff to cover planned and unplanned absences across both the Primary and Secondary schools.
The role ensures continuity of learning, minimises disruption to students, and supports the College's commitment to providing a high-quality Christian education.
The Daily Relief Administrator works collaboratively with school leaders, teaching staff, and administration teams to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with the College's pool of relief staff.
This is a
Full Time Term-Time
position, Monday to Friday from 6:00am (work from home), and then office-based from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily relief coverage across the whole school (P-12).
Receive and respond to staff absence notifications via phone, text and email.
Contact and allocate relief teachers and support staff to classes and duties.
Build, maintain and grow a reliable pool of relief teachers.
Welcome, brief and support relief staff each morning to ensure they are well prepared for the day.
Work proactively with the Heads of School,
Heads of Department, and other leaders regarding staffing priorities and coverage requirements.
Maintain accurate records of relief staff availability and placements.
Communicate staffing arrangements clearly and promptly with relevant staff.
Provide administrative support to the high school leadership team as required.
Selection Criteria (Essential)
Demonstrated administrative experience in a busy office environment
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
Strong computer literacy
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a cooperative team environment
Demonstrated commitment to supporting the Christian ethos and mission of the College

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;
at least 2 recent professional referees
at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
OUR PIMPAMA CAMPUS
(on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over **** students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King's LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS
(in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
King's Christian College is committed to acting in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act **** (QLD) to promote the safety and wellbeing of all students.
As such, candidates will be subject to a Qld Teacher Registration check or Blue Card screening and other relevant checks as required.
