We are seeking a Band 6 Resuscitation Officer to join our motivated and passionate team, supporting the ongoing development and delivery of a high-quality Resuscitation Service across CUH.
You will play a key role in delivering Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 resuscitation training to a diverse and motivated workforce, in line with Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) guidelines and training framework requirements.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance, ensuring compliance with RCUK and CQC standards.
Through education, assurance, and continuous improvement, the Resuscitation Service supports staff competence and confidence, ultimately improving outcomes for patients accessing CUH services.
Deliver a comprehensive, efficient and effective Resuscitation Service across the Trust, in line with NHS Trust policies, Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) and Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG) standards and guidance.
Lead, Plan, deliver and evaluate Basic, Immediate and Advanced Life Support training, ensuring all education is aligned.
Support the wider organisation to meet patient safety, clinical governance, and regulatory requirements, contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical services.
Attend and actively contribute to Trust Resuscitation Group meetings, providing professional advice and guidance on resuscitation-related matters.
This includes input into policy development, clinical governance, resuscitation equipment, audit, root cause analysis, and relevant reports or presentations.
Provide expert guidance and support during cardiac arrest calls across the site, promoting effective team working, leadership development within cardiac arrest teams, and high standards of resuscitation practice.
