About the Team

Infrastructure Projects team
, you'll join a group of professionalsdelivering Australia's future rail network.
To help grow rail freight inAustralia, the team is focused on ensuring the delivery of criticalconstruction projects across the country, including implementation of our >$2billion Network Investment Program developed with the Australian Government.
Theteam plays a pivotal role in ARTC's ongoing efforts to improve networkperformance and resilience and keep the future of freight on track.
About the Opportunity
Join ARTC's Infrastructure Projects team in a varied role providing high-quality administrative, project coordination and business support across a busy project environment.
As a
Project Administrator
, you'll work closely with Project Managers, project teams and key business stakeholders to keep project administration running smoothly.
From document and records management through to financial administration, meetings, travel and stakeholder coordination, you'll play an important role in supporting efficient project delivery.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative and project coordination support to Infrastructure Projects teams.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, correspondence, reports, registers and records.
Maintain accurate document management systems, databases and information repositories.
Support purchase orders, invoices, vendor administration, work orders and other financial processes.
Coordinate meetings, travel, onboarding and other project and business logistics.
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Monitor priorities and follow up actions to support timely project outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure information is managed in accordance with ARTC requirements.
What do we want from you?
To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in administration, project support or business support, ideally within a complex project or operational environment.
Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Experience maintaining records, databases and document management systems.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and other business systems.
Experience supporting financial or procurement administration would be highly regarded.
Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to exercise judgement, discretion and maintain confidentiality.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to quickly learn new systems, policies and procedures.
Commitment to workplace safety and effective risk management.
