As a Business Improvement Officer, you will play a keyrole in driving organisational performance by leading and supportingimprovement initiatives, facilitating change projects, and partnering withteams across Council to enhance service delivery and business outcomes.
Reporting to the Corporate Performance Coordinator, thisposition is responsible for championing Council's Continuous ImprovementFramework, identifying opportunities to improve processes and services, andsupporting the delivery of strategic organisational objectives.
Throughstakeholder engagement, project management and the application of best practicemethodologies, you will help foster a culture of innovation, continuousimprovement and customer-focused service excellence across the organisation.

Tertiary qualificationsand/or relevant experience in business, continuous improvement and/orchange management fields
Sound knowledge andexperience in developing and implementing organisational change andcontinuous improvement projects/initiative
Understanding of thecomplex factors impacting on the ability to implement and achievestrategic business outcomes
Sound consultation,negotiation and problem-solving skills
Highly developed oraland written communication skills with a strong focus on and commitment toquality customer service
Experience in managingcomplex projects and outcomes to achieve goals and meet deadlines in aconsultative
Ability to work as partof a team and contribute to team projects
High level written, oralcommunication skills with a strong focus on and commitment to qualitycustomer service
Demonstrated ability toapply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity atall times
Lean Six Sigmacertification
Project managementcertification
