The Role
n
Jarrah House is thename given to theresidential rehabilitation location for the Women's Alcohol and Drug Advisory Centre Incorporated (WADAC), aNon-
GovernmentOrganisationprovidingservices
to improve the wellbeing and health outcomes of women, and their families,carersand friends.
n
TheManager, Non-Residential AOD Servicesis a newly created leadership role designed tobuild
andstrengthenservicesfor
clientsin the community. Initially, you will workcloselywiththe
CEO,SubjectMatterExpertsandtheSteering
Committee tobuild ournewFamily, Carers and Friendsservice.
n
The role involves:
n
n
Coordinatingcounselling
and supportservices to non-residential AOD clients(Aftercare and Family, Carers and Friends)
n
Co-
designing,monitoringand
evaluatingtherapeuticframeworks,content
& tools
n
Client
screening,assessmentsand
care planning
n
Delivering a range
ofpsychosocialservices
including counselling, group facilitation (online and in-
person),psychoeducationand
brief interventions
n
Contributingto clinical governance, activity-
outcomereviewandqualityimprovement
n
Maintainingclient and operational records
n
Buildingcollaborative
partnerships with relevant
agenciesandservices.

About You
n
You'llbring:
n
n
Experience working in the AOD and/or Health sector
n
An ability to guide,mentorand work collaboratively with others
n
Experienceincounselling
and group facilitation
n
Demonstrated knowledge of psychosocialand
therapeuticframeworksand
modalitiesapplicable
to AOD, community mental health, familysupportand continuing care
n
Anability to engage diverse client groups.
n
Psychology,Counsellingor
related qualification
n
Membership of a relevant professional association
n
Demonstrated successful experience in a clinical role, suitable to the operating context
n
Has the right to work in Australia
n
Working with Children Checkclearance
n
Criminal Record Check clearance
n
Evidence of vaccination against Covid-19 and Whooping Cough
n
