We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Trade Qualified Carpenters to join our team for ongoing local government projects in the Cairns region.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
Perform general construction of modular homes. Potential to execute carpentry works for local residential properties, including structural repairs, fit-outs, and upgrades. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Ensure all work complies with the National Construction Code (NCC) and local council building standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant worksite at all times.

Mandatory Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:
n
n




Australian Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent Australian recognised qualification).
n
Current Licensing: A valid Queensland Construction White Card and any other relevant current trade licenses.
n
Fitness for Work: Must be able to successfully pass a mandatory pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
n
Driver's License: A valid Australian manual driver's license.
n
Safety Focus: A solid commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices.
n
