About the Role
n
We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team as Back of House (BOH) Charcoal Cook. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll work alongside a great team, keep the energy high, and help create memorable experiences for our guests. No previous experience is required, with full training provided on the job.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Charcoal Cook:
n
n
Setting up and operating the charcoal pit safely and correctly
n
Cooking and basting charcoal chicken to El Jannah recipe and quality standards
n
Portioning, rotating, and preparing chicken for service
n
Monitoring cook times, temperatures, and product quality
n
Keeping the charcoal station, tools,



and surrounding areas clean and organised
n
Supporting service flow during busy periods
n
Following food safety, WHS requirements, and reporting hazards or incidents
n
Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great guest experience
n

Previous fast food or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential
