About the Role!

Come and join the Infinite team as our new Garden/Maintenance Officer on a full time basis at our aged care home called Southhaven which is located at Padstow Heights, Sydney.

This role offers great work life balance as the hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am & finishing at approximately 3pm with a starting hourly rate of $35 per hour plus phone allowance. The successful candidate will join the care home's leadership team as a valued member to ensure the home is safe, secure and looking beautiful every day for the residents that call this their home!

Day to day duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Join daily leadership meetings to be across and agree on daily activities and priorities.
n




Undertake general maintenance observations & activities smoothly and to an agreed standard in accordance with Infinite standards, plans and guidelines.
n
Ensure all emergency, preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
n
Commitment to a safety-first workplace for self, residents, colleagues and visitors.
n
When required oversee and coordinate any required contractors working on site.
n
Exceptional client service skills are important to ensure success in the role.
n
Flexibility to undertake a wide scope of activities including but not limited to: landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs; waste removal; painting and test and tagging (training can be provided after commencement).

About You:
n
n
Previous property maintenance experience is preferred.
n
OHS understanding and strong commitment to safety first workplace and culture.
n
As a great self-starter you will have excellent time management skills which enable you prioritise work schedules to desired completion standards.
n
Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
n
Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task.
n
A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one)
n
Positive `can do' attitude will ensure your success in this important role.
n
n
This is a physically demanding maintenance role, applicants must be capable of safely performing manual handling and other physical duties.
n
As part of our pre-employment phase an online medical assessment and other work-related checks are mandatory.
