We are delighted to open our recent 102 bed aged care home, Holy Cross, Kincumber on the Central Coast andare looking for talented Care Companions to join our team on a casual basis. To be considered for this role you will need a minimum of 3 days work availability and preferably more.
n
A typical day will involve
n
n
Providing resident personal care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting, assisting with meals service, mobility, social support and tailored Mind and Move activities
n
Administering basic medications
n
Facilitating individual activities with residents based on their personal interests,



hobbies and preferences as part of daily life
n
Working collaboratively with team members to ensure the effective running of the household, focusing on resident needs and preferences
n
n
To be successful in this role you'll need
n
n
A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
n
Ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with residents and their families
n
Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
n
Certificate III or Cert IV in aged care or similar
n
n
