Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high ‐ quality learning programs for early childhood students
n
Create a
positive,inclusiveand
nurturing classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing
n




Support students in understanding and living our Mercy Values through daily interactions,
classroomlearningand
participation in the Mercy Kid initiative
n
Encourage curiosity and develop knowledge through inquiry ‐ driven, play ‐ based learning in our youngest students
n
Apply strong working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National
QualityStandardsand
progressive early years pedagogy to promote best practice
n
Assess student learning accurately and providetimely, constructive feedback in line with the National Quality Standards
n
Develop cutting-edge teaching resources and collaborate effectively with colleagues
n
Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to cocurricular and whole ‐ school activities
n
Model and promote the Catholic ethos,valuesand pastoral care principles of the school
n
Communicate professionally and respectfully with
students,familiesand
staff
n
Uphold Child Safe School guidelines and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students

n
You will be a passionate Early Childhood Teacher who:

Demonstrates strong knowledge of early years pedagogy and contemporary teaching practice

Current TRBWA registration
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education(Early Childhood)
