****SMILES Gladstone is looking for a Casual Dental Assistant who's keen to learn chairside, support our clinicians and become part of a friendly and experienced team. Whether you're newly qualified or completely new to dental, we're happy to train the right person.
n
This casual role works across our Monday to Saturday roster, with shifts typically falling between 7:45am and 5:15pm. It's a great opportunity for someone looking for adaptable work while building valuable experience in the dental industry.

Job Description
n
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting dentists and clinicians during procedures and with patient care
n
Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment
n
Sterilising instruments and following infection control procedures
n
Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for
n
Keeping the clinical environment clean, organised and ready for patients
n
Supporting the wider practice team with administrative tasks when required
n
n
Qualifications
n
To succeed in the role, you will bring:

approachable manner and a natural ability to put patients at ease
n
A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
n
Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
n
Good organisation and attention to detail
n
Availability to work across the Monday to Saturday roster
n
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or previous dental experience, is highly regarded but not essential.
