n As a Gym Instructor, you'll play a key role in helping people improve their health, fitness and confidence.
n You'll support members of all ages and abilities, delivering secure, effective programs and creating a friendly environment where everyone feels welcome. Working within our Health & Fitness team, you'll make a real impact through every interaction—helping people start strong, stay motivated and achieve their goals.

What You'll Be Doing
n You will:
n
n
Conduct fitness appraisals and create customised programs
n
Support members with technique, equipment use and safe training
n
Lead small‐group gym circuit sessions as required
n
Provide excellent customer service in person and by phone
n
Encourage members to book regular appraisals and stay active
n
Maintain gym areas and equipment to a high standard
n
Build rapport and identify opportunities for PT engagement
n
Assist with promotional programs and centre initiatives
n




Follow cash‐handling and customer service processes
n
Support a safe, positive and inclusive training environment
n
n
What You'll Bring
n You're supportive, knowledgeable and passionate about helping others succeed. Ideally, you'll bring:
n
n
AusActive registration or industry‐recognised equivalent
n
Certificate IV in Health & Fitness (or equivalent)
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
Experience in the recreation or fitness industry
n
Ability to interpret customer needs and respond effectively
n
Experience in appraisals or program design (desirable)
n
Experience delivering group fitness or small‐group sessions (desirable)
n
Working With Children Check (essential)
n
National Police Clearance (essential)
n
