About the role
n
We are seeking an experienced Dewatering Technician to join our site operations team. This hands-on role requires experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pumping systems and associated infrastructure.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Install, commission, and maintain pump systems for open pit and underground mine dewatering.
n
Install commission and maintain bore pump systems and transfer pump systems to supply water to mining operations.
n
Installation of associated infrastructure such as HDPE pipelines, rising mains, pond liners etc.
n
Supervise and train crew members.
n
Be the point of contact for the Greenlands project manager for the duration of the project.
n
Maintain accurate job documentation, test results, and safety records.
n
Liaise with clients and site management to ensure project milestones are achieved.
n
Uphold all WHS, environmental, and site-specific compliance standards.
n

Skills and Experience Required
n
n
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role is required.
n




Demonstrated competency in HDPE fusion welding and/or steel pipeline installation.
n
Understand the basics of pumping systems.
n
Proven track record working in remote or high-risk mine environments.
n
Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, and QA/QC documents.
n
Sound understanding of safety systems and risk assessment procedures.
n
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
n
Unrestricted Permission to Work/ Live in WA
n
Current Driver's Licence (required)
n
White Card (required)
n
Poly Welding Ticket (preferred)
n
Mechanical Trade Qualification or equivalent experience (highly regarded)
n
National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol screen (required prior to commencement)
