Summary:

The Site Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects in Victoria, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires solid leadership skills and a thorough understanding of building and construction processes, making it essential for the successful execution of projects in the region.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Manage and lead a team of construction workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
n
Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays to the project manager.
n
Ensure that materials and equipment are available and in good condition for the work being performed.
n
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.

Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the building and construction industry.
n
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
n
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
n
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
n
Relevant certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., White Card, First Aid) are preferred.
