Job Title Senior Marketing Specialist (Fixed Term)
Job Summary
We're looking for a commercially minded Industry Senior Marketing Specialist to play a key role in how Telstra Enterprise engages customers within priority industry verticals.
Reporting to the Head of Industry Marketing, this role will manage and execute an industry-led marketing program that drives customer engagement, supports sales priorities and contributes to strong industry growth and commercial outcomes across the Telstra Enterprise segment.
This is a high-impact role for someone who has proven experience in B2B marketing, can connect customer insight to commercial opportunity, and is confident working closely with Sales, Product, Enterprise segment team and cross-functional teams to bring industry plans to life.
This will be a fixed term opportunity.
What you'll be responsible for
Managing the marketing activity for a defined industry vertical, ensuring plans are aligned to Telstra Enterprise growth priorities and sales objectives.
Supporting the development and execution of industry-led customer engagement programs that build relevance, deepen relationships and create commercial opportunity.
Translating industry insights, customer needs and business priorities into clear, impactful marketing plans across the funnel.
Partnering closely with Sales and key stakeholders to ensure marketing activity is commercially aligned and supports pipeline growth, customer engagement and revenue outcomes.
Tracking performance, pipeline influence and marketing effectiveness, using data and insights to optimise activity and demonstrate business impact.
Working closely with the Head of Industry Marketing to support portfolio planning, prioritisation and reporting across the broader industry marketing function.
Building robust working relationships across Marketing, Sales, Product, Strategy, Events, Brand and external partners to deliver integrated customer experiences.
Bringing strong planning discipline,
attention to detail and execution cadence to ensure industry programs are delivered effectively and on time.
Contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team culture by bringing energy, ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
What we're looking for
A degree in Marketing or a related discipline, together with relevant marketing experience is required.
Strong experience in B2B, B2E or enterprise marketing, ideally within technology, telecommunications, enterprise solutions or a complex commercial workplace.
Demonstrated ability to manage marketing programs that support customer engagement, demand generation, pipeline influence and commercial growth.
A strong understanding of the Enterprise customer and buying journey, and how marketing can influence decision-making across complex buying groups.
Experience developing and executing full-funnel marketing plans across channels including campaigns, content, thought leadership, events and account/customer engagement programs.
Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Sales and influence cross-functional teams.
Commercial acumen and confidence working with pipeline, performance metrics and business outcomes.
Ability to work at pace, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, customer-led messaging and compelling marketing activity.
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership of a vertical while working as part of a broader portfolio team.
Strong grounding in data, insights and performance tracking, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and measurable impact.
