LET'S EXPLORE THE ROLE
As Account Manager, Colocation, you'll be the primary relationship manager for BAI's radiocommunications customers, ensuring the seamless delivery of business-as-usual colocation services while identifying opportunities to drive growth.
Working closely with teams across Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance and Service Delivery, you'll manage customer requests from application through to completion, delivering excellent outcomes and maintaining strong customer partnerships.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded account manager who enjoys building relationships,
solving problems and contributing to the growth of critical telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for radiocommunications customers across BAI's colocation portfolio
Manage new site applications, equipment upgrades, renewals, licence variations and access requests from initiation through to completion
Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders at operational and management levels
Prepare, present and negotiate commercial proposals aligned with BAI's pricing frameworks
Identify opportunities to expand services, increase capacity and grow revenue within existing accountsMonitor account performance, pipeline activity and revenue outcomes, providing regular reporting and insights
Resolve customer issues and escalations in partnership with internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate customer, commercial and pipeline data within Salesforce
Support colocation growth initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of customer lifecycle processes
Stay informed on telecommunications infrastructure trends, industry developments and market opportunities

You'll bring a customer-first mindset, commercial acumen and a passion for building long-term partnerships.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, confidently managing multiple stakeholders while balancing customer expectations, revenue objectives and operational outcomes.
To be successful, you'll have:
Experience in account management, sales or customer relationship management within telecommunications, infrastructure or a related industry
Proven success managing customer portfolios and delivering against revenue, performance and service outcomes
Knowledge of colocation, tower infrastructure, site sharing arrangements or telecommunications network environments
Experience coordinating new site applications, infrastructure upgrades or similar operational processes
Robust commercial and contractual understanding, including pricing, proposals and agreement renewals
Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes while strengthening customer relationships
Confidence analysing performance data, maintaining pipeline visibility and reporting on account outcomes
Proficiency using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage customer activity and opportunities
Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the Australian telecommunications or mobile network operator landscape is highly regarded
Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous
