The Opportunity:
Techforce are seeking experienced excavator/ digger operators for ongoing production mining operations at Mount Carlton Mine in the Bowen Basin, QLD.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be operating excavators in a hard rock mining environment.This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established mine site, with modern facilities.
Operators with hard rock experience are highly regarded, however coal operators may also be considered.
What's in it for you?
8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster
12-hour shifts
DIDO or BIBO from Townsville
Permeant Role
Work at a well-resourced site with new facilities and strong support systems
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years' production mining experience preferred
Experience operating diggers on a mine site- REQUIRED




Hard rock mining experience highly recommended
Valid Standard 11 (S11) and relevant site competencies
Clean NPC within the last 6 months
Strong safety focus and ability to work within a team workplace
Coal operators may be considered
Additional Requirements
Must have a strong safety attitude and willingness to follow site procedures
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Must provide two recent, contactable references
Current valid driver's license
Must be available for immediate mobilization
