Commercial Manager
tojoin our team and play a critical role in the delivery of a major $350M regionalroad restoration project.
Initially basedin Sydney before mobilising to project, this role presents an outstandingopportunity to lead the commercial function on a major infrastructure projectwhile contributing to Bielby's continued growth across Current South Wales.
Workingclosely with the Project Director and senior leadership team, you will beresponsible for protecting and maximising project performance through strategiccontract management, commercial leadership, risk management and stakeholderengagement.
This is arare opportunity to influence both project outcomes and the future growth of ahighly respected civil contractor.
What You'll Do
Lead all commercial aspects ofthe project from project commencement through to completion.
Manage contract administrationactivities, ensuring contractual compliance and protection of Bielby'scommercial interests.
Oversee project forecasting,cost control, reporting, cash flow management and financial performance.
Lead the identification,preparation and negotiation of variations, claims and commercialopportunities.
Provide commercial guidance andsupport to project delivery teams and senior management.
Establish robust projectcontrols, commercial governance and reporting frameworks.
Manage subcontractorprocurement, negotiations,
administration and performance.
Identify and mitigate commercialrisks while developing strategies to maximise project outcomes.
Build trusted relationships withclients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
Support future business growthby contributing to commercial strategies across NSW operations.
What You'll Bring
10+ years of commercialmanagement experience within major civil infrastructure or constructionprojects.
Tertiary qualifications inQuantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, Commerce ora related discipline.
Demonstrated success managingcommercial functions on large-scale road, transport or infrastructureprojects.
Strong knowledge of constructioncontracts, claims management, procurement and project controls.
Proven experience withforecasting, cost management and financial reporting.
Excellent negotiation andstakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead teams andinfluence decision-making at both project and executive level.
A proactive andsolutions-focused approach with strong commercial acumen.
