About the Role
The Disability Support Leader (Team Leader) will lead a team of Disability Support Workers and supervise client service delivery within community access and in home support services predominantly across Perth South Metro.
To be successful in this role you will have experience supporting people with disability with a range of support needs as well as leadership experience in the disability sector with a focus on strength-based practice and person-centred support.
This is a
12-month full-time position
which will require travel to services across
Perth South Metro,
2 days in our
Leederville
office and some hybrid work from home.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team and provide advice and supervision to achieve positive outcomes
Ensure staff are skilled and knowledgeable in the delivery of supports
Collaborate, develop and maintain person centred support approaches
Manage the running of services including budgets, compliance and staff ratios
Collaborate with key business partners to ensure consistent delivery of a positive service
Manage, monitor and report on incidents and complaints
Participate in an on-call roster
Skills & Experience
Experience in a leadership position within the delivery of services to people with a disability
Diploma in relevant Social & Community Services or relevant experience
Current Australian unrestricted Drivers Licence
Established influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to think creatively and use initiative
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
