What we are looking for:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Team Member to support the delivery of civil construction and maintenance works across the Fraser Coast.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will undertake a variety of hands‐on tasks including concreting, pit construction, pipe laying, kerb and channel installation, footpath construction, and road maintenance activities while contributing to safe and efficient operations in public environments.
What your day will look like:
Construct pits, install drainage infrastructure and lay pipes
Complete concreting works including kerb, channel and footpath construction
Deliver road construction and maintenance works to required standards
Operate plant, tools and equipment safely and responsibly
Assist with traffic control and worksite safety measures
Complete pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance
Record work activities, timesheets and service requests
Work cooperatively within a team and support continuous improvement
What you'll need for success:
General Construction Induction (White Card)
Valid MR driver licence (QLD recognised)
Experience in civil construction, concreting, drainage or roadworks
Experience with pit construction, pipe laying or kerb and footpath works
Ability to safely operate plant, tools and equipment
Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to use mobile devices and systems for work recording

Traffic Management Implementation (Level 2)
Chainsaw Level 1
Safe Working near Exposed Live Parts (SWNELP)
