The Role
PLC is seeking an outstanding educational leader with a genuine passion for teaching and learning to provide strategic leadership of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment across the Junior School.
Working closely with the Head of Junior School and as a key member of the Junior School Leadership Team, you will lead educational improvement, strengthen teacher capability and champion evidence-informed practice to enhance outcomes for every student.
You will also work collaboratively with leaders and colleagues across the College to support a coherent and aligned approach to teaching and learning from ELC to Year 12.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
Lead teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment across the Junior School
Drive evidence-informed pedagogical improvement and innovation
Build teacher capability through coaching, mentoring and professional learning
Use data and assessment evidence to inform priorities and improve student outcomes
Lead and support Subject and Learning Enhancement Leaders
Contribute strategically to the leadership of the Junior School and broader College
You Are
An accomplished educational leader with demonstrated impact on teaching and student outcomes
Passionate about contemporary curriculum, pedagogy and excellent teaching
Skilled in coaching, mentoring and developing teachers and leaders
An evidence-informed leader who uses data and research to drive improvement
A collaborative and relational leader who can successfully lead change
Committed to supporting the Christian ethos, values and educational mission of PLC
Applicants must hold a relevant teaching qualification and current
Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
.
A Masters in Educational Leadership or Curriculum Leadership is desirable.
