The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to join our national Industrial Relations team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering strategic IR outcomes across a diverse and complex business, partnering with operational leaders, People & Culture teams and senior stakeholders to drive best-practice industrial and employee relations initiatives.
Reporting to the National Industrial Relations Manager, you will provide expert advice and support across enterprise bargaining, dispute resolution, compliance, workforce planning and industrial strategy while helping the business achieve its operational and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and implementing IR/ER strategies aligned with business objectives
Leading enterprise bargaining activities and supporting agreement negotiations
Providing advice on complex industrial and employee relations matters
Managing industrial disputes and supporting Fair Work Commission matters
Building strong relationship with unions,
client representatives and key stakeholders
Supporting employee relations investigations and risk management activities
Delivering IR training, coaching and mentoring operational leaders
Providing strategic industrial relations input into tender and business growth opportunities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Significant experience in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations
Demonstrated enterprise bargaining and agreement negotiation experience
Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Australian industrial relations frameworks
Experience appearing before industrial tribunals and preparing submissions
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
Experience managing industrial disputes, union engagement and workforce strategy.
