We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Full-time and short-term position:
Grounds/ Maintenance Person – Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Short-term Contract: Commence ASAP – 30 October **** (with the possibility of a further extension)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds/Maintenance person to join our team on a short-term contract.
The successful candidate will assist with the general upkeep and maintenance of the school grounds and facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Personal Qualities:
You are passionate about living out your Christian faith and are prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values.
Proven experience in gardening and maintenance.
General skills in painting, carpentry, property maintenance and general repairs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.




Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
Applicants will be required to:
Perform routine building and grounds maintenance and improvement tasks.
Report any identified maintenance needs.
Repair and maintain College equipment and fixtures.
Assist with setup and takedown for school events and activities.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Collaborate with the Buildings Team on joint maintenance tasks and projects.
When required, assist with contractor enquiries.
Additional Requirements:
You have relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
Moderate level of computer competence.
All applicants are required to attain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance.
You are required to provide a current Police Clearance report (no older than three months).
You will be expected to complete a Child Safety course as part of the induction process if you have not already done so.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).
