MLG Oz is seeking an experienced Chef to join our Kalgoorlie team!

Permanent, full-time position 38 hours per week 10-hour shifts Rotating breakfast dinner roster Stable, secure residential role in Kalgoorlie Supportive and experienced kitchen team Work-life stability with set shift times Make a real impact every day SHIFT TIMES Breakfast: 2:30am – 12:30pm Dinner: 11:00am – 9:00pm ? This is a residential Kalgoorlie-based role — FIFO is not available.
THE ROLE Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for 65+ personnel every day.
You'll play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, including: Preparing and cooking breakfast or dinner meals Planning and organising menus Catering for dietary requirements and preferences Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation and consistency Managing stock, ordering and food wastage Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards Keeping the kitchen clean,



organised and efficient Supporting the team through busy meal service periods Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas WHAT YOU'LL BRING Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Previous experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace Positive attitude and strong team spirit Pride in producing quality food consistently PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months, or willingness to obtain DON'T MISS OUT!
