Summer is coming to St Kilda – and The Espy is gearing up!
We're looking for passionate chefs to join the kitchen teams at Hotel Esplanade (The Espy) ahead of one of our busiest periods of the year.
This isn't your typical pub kitchen.
The Espy is home to multiple food concepts, each with its own style and personality – from the bustling Main Bar, serving classic pub favourites, to Louey's, our coastal Italian restaurant and Mya Tiger, our vibrant Cantonese restaurant.
With live music, events, functions and thousands of guests coming through the venue, summer brings plenty of opportunity to get stuck into exciting, high-volume service.
The Espy also hosts weddings, corporate events and private functions across its many event spaces.
We're hiring: Sous Chefs Step up and help lead a high-performing kitchen team across a dynamic, multi-outlet venue.
Chef de Partie Bring your skills to busy services and work across some of St Kilda's most exciting food concepts.
Demi Chefs Build your skills, gain experience across different cuisines and learn from experienced kitchen teams.




Kitchen Porters Keep the kitchens running smoothly and be an essential part of the BOH team.
