Relocation support negotiable About You You are an experienced operational executive who has led a large, complex service business with significant frontline workforce of 500+ and held full P L accountability.
You bring experience from transport, logistics, infrastructure, resources, mining services, utilities, waste, facilities management or a similarly complex contract based setting where service delivery, commercial performance, workforce leadership and stakeholder confidence are critical.You are commercially disciplined and understand how to manage a business against scope, budget, KPIs and contractual obligations.
You know how to identify the levers that improve financial performance, reduce commercial leakage and build stronger operating discipline across a large workforce.
You have superb stakeholder management capability and can rebuild confidence with demanding external stakeholders.
Experience in regulated, complex or highly scrutinised environments would be highly regarded, however candidates with experience managing major clients, regulators or contract counterparties will also be considered.
You are calm, credible and energetic.
You can build trust with frontline teams, senior executives and complex external stakeholders, while setting clear expectations and holding leaders accountable.
Most importantly, you are a steady, commercially sharp leader who can restore performance, rebuild confidence and position a large operation for long term success.
You are based in, or willing to relocate to Adelaide.
About the Opportunity This senior leadership role leads a substantial Adelaide based service operation with large scale workforce, operational and commercial responsibility.
The business has significant operational complexity, including a geographically dispersed operating environment,



a large frontline workforce and a substantial operational footprint.
This is a retention and performance improvement role.
The business already holds a strong position in its market, so the priority is not growth for growth's sake.
The focus is on resetting stakeholder confidence, improving operational reliability, reducing commercial leakage and strengthening long term performance.
The role will lead a restructure of the leadership model, clarifying accountability and ensuring the right people are operating at the right level to deliver.
It will also require close oversight of commercial performance, workforce engagement, operational delivery and industrial relations priorities.
A significant part of the role will be externally facing, rebuilding trust with key stakeholders.
The balance will be internally focused, leading the team, improving performance and embedding a more disciplined operating rhythm across the business.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys complex operational environments, can deliver calm and consistent leadership, and is comfortable remaining visible across multiple sites.
