Our client is seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to support month-end accounting, financial reporting and management reporting across its client portfolio.
This role combines hands-on accounting with client engagement and commercial finance support and offers a salary of $90,000–$100,000 + superannuation.
What you'll be doing: Managing month-end accounting and preparing monthly management accounts Preparing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports Completing reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Analysing financial performance and investigating variances Preparing financial statements and supporting working papers Supporting taxation and statutory compliance requirements Providing clients with clear and timely financial information Working closely with senior managers and directors Reviewing bookkeeping processes and improving financial reporting What you'll need: 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance,



Commerce or a related discipline Strong month-end and management reporting experience Sound knowledge of financial accounting principles Experience preparing management accounts and financial statements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid intermediate to advanced Excel skills Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting platforms Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication and client-facing skills CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification is highly regarded What's in it for you: Salary of $90,000–$100,000 + superannuation A mix of accounting and commercial finance responsibilities Opportunity to work closely with senior management and clients Opportunity to further develop your financial reporting and advisory skills How to apply: To complete your application for this position, please click the "APPLY" button.
