THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join at Senior Associate level within a well-regarded Family Law practice that regularly handles complex, high-net-worth matters.
A distinguishing feature of this practice is its close connection to the firm's commercial team: many family law matters involve a business or corporate structure, and navigating the division of matrimonial assets without damaging the value of the underlying business is a regular and interesting feature of the work.
This is a genuine hybrid role.
While your primary focus will be Family Law, you will also spend a meaningful portion of your time - starting at around 25% and potentially more, depending on workflow - working on General Commercial matters, predominantly transactional and advisory in nature, with some exposure to commercial litigation.
KEY DETAILS Practice split: approximately 75% Family Law / 25% General Commercial (may vary with demand) Commercial work: mainly transactional and advisory, with some litigation Reporting lines:
