Role Overview Sheet Metal Worker specialising in industrial insulation, lagging, cladding and pipework, with particular experience working on tank vessels, pipework, pressure vessels and associated industrial equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, installation and maintenance of insulation and sheet metal cladding systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Measure, fabricate and install sheet metal cladding for tank vessels, pressure vessels, pipework, valves, flanges and associated equipment.
Install and maintain thermal and acoustic insulation systems.
Carry out lagging and cladding works using aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel and other specified materials.




Read and interpret drawings, specifications, measurements and job requirements.
Measure, cut, fold, roll and shape sheet metal to suit vessels, tanks and pipework.
Fabricate and install weatherproof and protective cladding systems.
Complete detailed work around tank nozzles, manways, valves, pipe supports, flanges and vessel fittings.
Work with insulation materials including blankets, boards, calcium silicate, mineral wool and other industrial insulation products as required.
Ensure finished work is neat, secure, weather-resistant and meets project specifications.
