Our client is seeking a Security Engineer – Identity & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to join its Security Operations (SecOps) team. This is a hands‐on engineering role focused on identity security, automation, infrastructure security and DevSecOps within a Microsoft Azure environment. Candidates must have strong, practical experience working across Azure cloud environments and embedding security into DevOps processes. Hands‐on Azure DevSecOps experience is critical for this position.
Key Skills & Experience Required
3+ years of hands‐on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform, Bicep and/or ARM templates, together with experience in Desired State Configuration (DSC).
Strong experience securing and automating Microsoft Azure environments using DevSecOps principles and practices.
Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML, including source control, branching strategies and release management.
Experience embedding security controls and automated security testing throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Hands‐on experience with GitHub Advanced Security,



including Secret Protection/secret scanning, dependency scanning and static application security testing (SAST).
Solid PowerShell and Python scripting and automation skills.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, OAuth, SSO and MFA.
Experience with Azure Key Vault, PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cyber security within Azure, DevOps and DevSecOps environments.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including ASD Essential Eight, NIST CSF 2.0 and/or NIST SP ******.
Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management practices.
