About the role
n
We are looking for people to join our Melbourne team as Support Workers in the community, part time or casual positions are currently available.
n
We have clients living at home in Rowville and Doncaster areas and surrounding suburbs. Where we can, and we will roster employees based on geographic location to minimize travel.
n
As a support worker you will:
n
n
Support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
n
Promote customer choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the customer.
n
Qualified support workers will also support clients with personal cares, assistance with mobility and prompting with medication.
n
n
What you will bring
n
Ideally, you will have some experience in the health sector, but if not, we would still love to hear from you if this is a career you want to pursue and you have the right 'can-do' attitude.



Full training and orientation will be provided.

A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support (desired but not essential)
n
Current CPR and First Aid certificates
n
Current and valid Driver's Licence and comprehensive insurance, reliable motor vehicle
n
Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
n
Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
n
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
n
Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
n
