The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and energetic Bar Manager to join the opening leadership team of Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Sandgate. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing bar operations, leading and motivating the team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring efficient service within a fast-paced, high-volume venue.

You will play a key role in creating a fun, engaging, and professional atmosphere while driving beverage quality, operational standards, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional service
n
Maintain high standards of customer experience and guest engagement
n
Demonstrate comprehensive cocktail, beverage, and menu knowledge
n
Manage day-to-day bar operations in a fast-paced service environment
n
Monitor inventory levels, stock control, ordering, and cost management
n
Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records
n
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health and safety standards
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented bar and service area
n




Support team collaboration across front and back of house operations
n
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery professionally
n
Assist with rostering, team development, and operational performance targets
n
Work within QR ordering and full table service systems
n

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bar Manager or senior bar leadership role
n
Experience within a high-profile, high-volume full table service venue
n
Extensive cocktail and beverage knowledge
n
Experience working within fast-paced cocktail and service bar environmentsExperience using QR ordering systems
n
Current RSA certification
n
Full Australian working rights

Own reliable transport
n
Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
