360 Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our client's team based in Gregory Hills.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage procurement activities across civil construction projects
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies
Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
Manage supplier relationships, pricing and commercial agreements
Obtain competitive quotations and ensure value for money
Monitor procurement costs, budgets and project requirements
Coordinate the timely supply of materials, plant, equipment and services
Review supplier and subcontractor performance
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Work closely with estimators,



project managers and site teams
About you
Previous experience in procurement management within civil construction
Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, plant, subcontractors and suppliers
Experience working with council or local government projects is highly regarded
Solid commercial and negotiation skills
Excellent supplier relationship management capability
Strong understanding of procurement processes and cost control
Excellent communication and organiseral skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach
