If you are already operating at Senior Structural Engineer level but feel the next step to Associate is taking too long, this could provide the progression you are looking for.
A well-regarded established Sydney engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a robust structural team delivering substantial commercial and industrial developments.
This is a genuine senior role with the opportunity to take greater responsibility for projects, work within larger project teams and develop towards Associate level over the next ***** months.
The role will involve:
Structural design and delivery of major commercial and industrial projects
Working as part of large, experienced structural engineering teams
Taking responsibility for significant components of complex projects
Coordinating with architects, clients and other engineering disciplines
Reviewing designs and assisting less experienced engineers




Increasing involvement in project and client management as you progress
Developing towards Associate-level responsibilities
We are particularly interested in Structural Engineers who have:
Strong Australian consultancy experience
Experience across commercial and/or industrial building structures
Strong reinforced concrete and structural steel design capability
Good working knowledge of ETABS - essential
RAPT experience would be highly regarded
The ability to work effectively within larger project teams
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
The ambition and capability to progress beyond Senior Engineer level
