We are seeking an experienced
Production Manager
to lead the delivery of our modular building program at our Crestmead facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role is responsible for leading supervisors, trades and production teams to safely deliver high-quality modular buildings on time and within budget.
This is not a traditional manufacturing role. We're looking for a leader who understands construction, building trades and the challenges of coordinating multiple work fronts, subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver quality building outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop supervisors, tradespeople and production teams to achieve safety, quality and delivery outcomes.
Drive a strong safety culture and hold teams accountable to Fleetwood's WHSEQ standards.




Coordinate the construction and manufacture of modular buildings to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
Build capability within the supervisory team through coaching, mentoring and leadership development.
Drive operational improvements that increase productivity, quality and manufacturing capacity.
Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure safe and compliant work practices.
Collaborate with project delivery, engineering, quality and support functions to achieve business objectives.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
About You
You're an experienced leader from a construction, modular building or related environment who understands how to bring together people, processes and resources to deliver successful outcomes.
You are known for building strong teams, developing future leaders and creating high-performing cultures where safety and quality come first. You remain calm under pressure, enjoy solving complex operational challenges and are comfortable balancing the competing demands of safety, production, people and customer expectations.
Most importantly, you're a leader who coaches and develops others rather than simply directing them.
What You'll Bring
Proven leadership experience within modular construction, building construction, off-site manufacturing or a closely related industry.




Experience leading supervisors and large operational teams.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building trades and project delivery environments.
Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance, productivity and workforce capability.
Experience driving a positive safety culture and achieving strong safety outcomes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A practical, hands‐on leadership style with the ability to influence and build credibility across the workforce.
Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing people and improving performance.
