Key responsibilities include:
n
Product Technical Support
n
n
Drive NPD and project manage critical path effectively to successfully launch products.
n
Contribute to the development of innovative commercially viable products that meet with local and international food trends
n
Align product development with the customer brief and Kitchen Food Company quality system and processes
n
Maintain product specifications staying updated of industry regulations and standards
n
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify new ingredients, technologies, and processes to enhance product quality and safety.

Manage factory trials and evaluate for continuous improvement
n

Supply Chain/Procurement
n
n




Assist with the management of risk in Kitchen supply chains, from source, ingredients and raw materials, processing, manufacturing and dispatch (safety and business risks)
n
Support the supplier strategy for the customer, ensuring the best suppliers are used.
n
Work with procurement team to develop the accurate raw material specifications
n
Work with site teams from concept to launch completing factory trials and refining our processes
n
Monitor and analyze consumer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
n
Identify areas for improvement in existing products and processes and develop solutions to address any issues.
n

Skills and experience
n
Essential attributes and competencies are:
n
n
Passionate about food
n
Degree in food science/qualifications in related area
n
At least 3 year's experience working in food manufacturing workplace (FMCG preferable)
n
Developed working knowledge of food technology and product development processes
n
Relevant product knowledge to deliver safe, legal, responsibly sourced products to the customer
n
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
n
Sound knowledge of food standards, PEAL labelling, and compliancy requirements
