Job Description
Seal & Design is a family-owned company founded and headquartered in Clarence, NY with four divisions located across the U.S. and Canada. Our product line includes gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded rubber and plastics, die-cut foams, and many other products for a wide array of sealing applications. Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM
n
Pay: $***** - $*****/hour
n
n
Operate production machinery safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
n
Execute job tasks according to specifications outlined on the job card
n
Accurately record job start and completion times, material usage, and production data
n
Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify compliance with quality standards
n
Notify the Lead Operator or Quality Control of any quality concerns and pause production until issue is resolved; escalated unresolved issues to the Plant Manager
n
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment as required
n
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work environment throughout the shift
n
Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures
n
Meet or exceed established productivity, efficiency, and quality targets
n
Cross-train and provide support to other departments as needed to meet production schedules and deadlines
n
n
Physical Requirements:
n
n
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
n
Continual use of hands; constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, pulling and lifting
n
Clear close vision and ability to identify and distinguish color variations
n
High school diploma or equivalent required
n
Six (6) months to two (2) years of job specific experience in custom converting, laminating, die-cutting, rotary press and/or printing presses
n
Experience working in a computer-based environment with business or ERP software.
n
Basic math and measurement proficiency

Ability to read & interpret blueprints and technical drawings
