We are seeking an experienced Branch/Manufacturing Manager to manage our Client's Wetherill Park,
Light Metal Building Products
operations.
As Branch/Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily sales, manufacturing & logistics operations, by managing teams, and driving business performance in line with company objectives.
This is a key role in the delivering successful customer outcomes across NSW, requiring strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset to manage sales and operational and logistics complexities.
Key responsibilities
Oversee and manage all daily branch sales and operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulations
Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring appropriate training and professional development
Monitor and optimise operational processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and effective use of company resources
Maintain and enhance quality control standards across all operational activities
Regularly report on branch performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
Coordinate logistics, inventory management, and supply chain activities to meet business demands
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and foster a safe working environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
Investigate and resolve sales and operational issues promptly and effectively




What we're looking for
Proven experience in manufacturing or branch management within Building Products or light metal manufacturing market sectors.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff at all levels
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements in the logistics or manufacturing industry
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Any relevant certifications in operations management or industry-specific qualifications.
