Head Office is located in Yatala with depots/yards inMelbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.

The Role
n
Oversee and manage a team of allocators to ensure:
n
n
Planning and scheduling drivers for the timely pick up and delivery of freight between Brisbane and North Queensland
n
Planning of loading of freight to ensure maximum utilisation of company equipment, whilst also meeting Chain of Responsibility obligations
n
Transparent communication of instructions and expectations to drivers and other staff
n
Clear and timely communication with external and internal parties
n




Fatigue Management compliance
n
Accurate and timely record keeping of the daily movements of drivers and equipment
n
n
About you
n
n
Proven success leading allocations teams
n
In depth knowledge of transport operations to and from North Queensland
n
Experience and understanding of produce and refrigerated freight
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential
n
Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment
n
