Design Manager - Own Projects & Design Outcomes
A highly regarded, design-focused architecture practice is seeking an experienced
Design Manager
to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded design professional to take ownership of projects across high-end residential and modular developments.
Working closely with clients, architects, consultants and contractors, you'll be responsible for driving design outcomes, coordinating documentation and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard across all stages.
You'll bring strong Australian project experience, excellent technical knowledge and advanced
Revit
skills, with the confidence to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design process across high-end residential and modular projects.
Coordinate projects from concept and design development through to documentation and construction.
Manage and coordinate architects, consultants, contractors and project teams.
Review and oversee high-quality Revit documentation and technical deliverables.
Work closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver design outcomes.
Identify and resolve design, technical and coordination issues.Monitor project programmes, quality and design deliverables.
Coordinate architectural design and interior fit-out elements where required.
Attend site meetings and support projects through construction.




Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, NCC/BCA and planning requirements.
Contribute to design strategy, project reviews and the continued growth of the practice.
Skills & Experience
Relevant architectural, design or construction qualification.
Strong Australian industry experience, ideally across
high-end residential and/or modular projects
.
Proven experience managing design processes across multiple project stages.
Advanced
Revit
skills with strong documentation and technical capabilities.
Strong understanding of construction, detailing, planning and NCC/BCA requirements.
Excellent consultant and stakeholder coordination skills.
Strong communication and client management abilities.
Commercially aware with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
Design-focused with a strong eye for quality and attention to detail.
