Today, we bring together Accounting & Tax, Bookkeeping & CFO Services, Finance & Lending, Insurance and Wealth Management, giving our clients access to a broader team of experts while keeping the personal service we've built our reputation on.
Our Carbonites are our best asset, and as we continue to grow, we're looking to expand the senior leadership capability within our Accounting & Tax division.
About the role.
We're looking for an experienced Business Services & Tax leader who wantsmorethan a title.
This could be an established Partner looking for their next move, or an Associate Director/Senior Manager ready to step up with a genuine pathway to partnership. What matters most is how you operate.
You'll be someone who takes ownership, makes decisions and creates momentum. You'll be commercially minded, close to your clients and team, and comfortable spotting an opportunity and doing something about it.
Based in our Ipswich office; there's plenty here to build from, but we're not looking for someone to simply inherit a position and maintain it.
We want someone who wants to build.
What you'll take ownership of:
A significant Business Services & Tax portfolio and the relationships that come with it.
Providing high-level business, accounting and tax advice to your clients.
Leading and developing a high-performing team.
Identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Driving growth within your portfolio and across the wider division.
Making decisions,



solving problems and keeping things moving.
Working alongside our Partners and senior leaders to help shape the future of Accounting & Tax.
Creating opportunities across Carbon's broader financial services offering.
What we're looking for:
Significant Australian public practice experience in Business Services & Tax.
CA or CPA qualification.
Strong technical and commercial capability.
Experience leading people and managing a substantial client portfolio.
Robust relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
A track record of identifying and creating opportunities.
Confidence to take ownership and be accountable for outcomes.
An entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to make things happen.
