The Health Centre opened mid-**** and is a large facility.
It services approximately **** military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College.
There is a 24-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7.




Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.
Defence Force Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles.
Standard hours of operation are generally Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you'll doDeliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward settingWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionalsSupport Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative careWhat you bringUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseMinimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military settingCurrent CPR certification (HLTAID009)Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred careAbility to work a 24/7 rosterThis role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
