RoleWorking closely with the Estimating Manager for the company, you will take responsibility for the following.
Noting that intermediate experienced will be assisted in some areas, for progression to a more senior level:Take-offs and budget estimates (finishing trades to start)Elemental and trade breakdown reviewsCollate and analyse trade subcontractor pricing for benchmarking useComplete value management pricingComplete detailed measures for finishing tradesComplete purchaser upgrade and variation pricingPreparing trade budgets for handover to construction teamObtain trade subcontractor and supplier pricingAssess trade subcontractor pricingDevelop and maintain relationships with trade subcontractors & suppliersLiaise and work collaboratively with project stakeholdersUpdating and maintaining project area analysis data.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you must have relevant experience with the above duties, with a successful track record of estimating for commercial construction projects.
Whether you are trade qualified or a qualified Quantity Surveyor, both will be considered.
You will also possess excellent time management skills, be able to communicate and plan effectively with a high attention to detail.
