Chisholm's culture of Belonging & Inclusion strives to promote a self-regulating culture that enhances the experiences of our employees, students and communities.ABOUT THE ROLEAs an Education Manager 1- Education Programs, in Education Programs area, your key responsibilities include:Coordinate and delegate tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including; Teacher Performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progressMaintain high standards of professional practice and develop co-operative and effective working relationships between all staff and across the Institute, Industry and Employer Network.Lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high-quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clientsImprove the quality of teaching and learning through ensuring materials have a student-based approach and adaptive curriculum to secure best outcomesEngage with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs and currencyContribute to business development activities including tenders and submissions to support business growth and the Institute's fee for service goalsWork collaboratively with industry to align current and emerging industry needs and facilitate relevant and responsive delivery models that engage learnersABOUT YOUYou are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.Qualifications required for the role:Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higherCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) or qualifications that meet the RTO StandardsVocational qualifications relevant to Early Childhood and industry currency.Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching disciplineA record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliverA record of Skilled Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.ABOUT USChisholm is one of the largest vocational training providers in the state with a team of over 1,400 dedicated staff supporting 41,000 students who choose to study at Chisholm and training at our modern campuses across Melbourne's southeast and online.
