preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.Your responsibilities will include:Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy mining equipmentDiagnosing mechanical faults and completing effective repairsCarrying out inspections and identifying potential issues before they impact productionCompleting maintenance records, service reports and other required documentationFollowing site safety procedures and maintaining high standards of workmanshipWorking closely with operators and other trades to maximise equipment availabilitySupporting a strong safety and reliability-focused maintenance cultureAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:A recognised trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalentExperience maintaining heavy earthmoving, mining, civil or construction equipmentStrong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skillsA commitment to safety and quality workmanshipThe ability to work a 7/7 rotating day and night rosterA current Australian Driver's LicencePrevious mining experience will be highly regardedWhy MacKellar?
