About the roleWe are seeking an experienced and agile Branch Manager to join the NQAS team at our Ayr location.
This is a full-time position based in Ayr, QLD ****, where you will take the helm of our branch operations and drive business success in the retail and consumer products sector.
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, managing daily operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service whilst achieving financial targets and strategic objectives.
This is a key leadership role that will have a direct impact on the branch's profitability and market presence.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all branch operations including stock management, merchandising, and point-of-sale systems to ensure smooth daily functioningLead, motivate and develop a team of staff members, providing training, coaching and performance management to drive engagement and productivitySet and monitor sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing strategies to achieve and exceed business objectivesManage branch budgets and financial performance, controlling costs and maximising profitabilityEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant retail regulations and health and safety standardsDeliver exceptional customer service standards and create a positive shopping experience that builds loyalty and repeat businessConduct regular stock audits and manage inventory levels to minimise shrinkage and maintain product availabilityIdentify opportunities for business growth and improvement,



liaising with head office and implementing strategic initiativesHandle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionallyMaintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the branch is presented to the highest standardWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Branch Manager or similar senior retail management role in a quick-paced retail environmentStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse teamSolid understanding of retail operations, stock control, and point-of-sale systemsExcellent financial acumen with experience in budget management and achieving financial targetsOutstanding customer service ethos and a track record of building customer relationshipsStrong organisational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailAbility to work independently and make sound business decisions whilst maintaining alignment with company strategyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levelsProficiency with retail management software and Microsoft Office applicationsIdeally, experience within the retail and consumer products sector would be advantageousWhat we offerNQAS is committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our team members.
